In celebration of both Ziauddin and Malala’s tireless work on behalf of girls across the world, the Women’s Fund seeks to award up to five Raise Your Voice Awards to local middle and/or high school students who are standing up in support of positive changes in their communities.
Raise Your Voice Awards will provide financial support of up to $1,000 for young leaders in Central Texas who want to speak up, take action and create change. We believe that by engaging actively in our community, everyone can contribute to the peace and prosperity of our entire world.
The Malala Fund recently published a guide to taking action for girls’ education—Raise Your Voice with Malala. This free resource gives girls the tools to raise their voices to make the changes they think are needed in their communities. Using this guide, we are challenging young advocates in Central Texas to become part of the next generation of leaders in this community and beyond.
